2005 Stereo

I just ordered my new truck yesterday, F350 CC DRW KR 4x4 Powerstroke.

The first thing I will want to do when it gets here is upgrade to a better stereo with XM. Does anyone know which, if any, aftermartket stereo's will integrate with the stereo controls on the steering wheel?

I've got a nice Pioneer AM/FM/XM CD player in my current truck and I am an XM addict.

The hardest part of the whole deal will be leaving my current truck on the lot when the new one gets here, 2002 F350 CC Lariat 4x4 Powerstroke, absolutely the best vehicle I have ever owned.

HD Carl,
From what I understand no aftermarket will allow such a thing. I have an 05 lariat w/ dual alternators and run a Sirius plug and play unit with no problems. I have the Kenwood plug and play and it fits perfect in the second glove box underneath the trailer command.

Carl, this may work for you: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-T7PVHXJ...info&i=127SWIX Just give Cruthfield a call and makesure it will work with the stereo head unit you are looking at using. They told me it will work for several different units I am looking at for my 05 250. Good luck.

i had one of these pac swi-x units for the 2 grand prixs i had. it works awesome and i would recommend it to anyone. you do need a HU with a remote in order to program it.
