I'm fixin to put another 3" on my 6" lift. What am I going to have to do with my rear drive shaft ? c.v. joint ? Im going to change spring perches to get rid of the wedges. It's tipped around 14 deg now and no vibrations.
Sorry it took me so long to see this, I'm not in here much. I'm betting you'll need a cv to compensate for the increased angle. 14 degrees is within a u-joints tolerances but with the extra lift I bet you'll start hitting the wall. I can personally recomend www.highangledriveshaft.com Super heavy duty, great customer service, and they can handle the angles. You'll either need to have the pinion angle around zero degrees (many, including myself would say actually at one degree to keep the bearings moving), or in phase with the angle at the t-case where both angles are equal. Hope that answered your question.
edit: I prefer to put the rear pinion at near zero myself, provided that its not tipped up so much you'll have oiling problems at the pinion. This would not be an issue with your amount of lift. Putting the rear joint if phase is fine, but the joint will be under more stress.
