The pillar pods take my handle, and the under-the-dash ones take my trailer brake and leg room. I've seen some gallery pics of individual gauges on the dash... these things have lots of room on the dash by the pillar (where the registration sticker goes for us Texans)- is there a nice setup someone cares to recommend for that area?
I did not thing I would like the A part however after ten thousand miles, I would not at all like the ones under the dash or in the cubby hole reason, I watch them a lot and the A pillar is very functional.....thought I would miss the handle...not at all.
JUST IMO
I wish they made a panel to go on the passenger side to eliminate the handles. I do not like the handles. My opinion. I like the A pillar pod it looks much cooler than grab handles.
Maybe they could come out with a passenger side A-pillar gauge mount for a speedometer that would show about 20 MPH less than you are actually travelling This could pacify my better half since the SCMT has been installed.
Well IMO the A pillar and handle make a nice blind spot...but the handle is nice especially after i get my lift put on it...........so i am thinking about getting the x monitor .you can search this forum to find a link

GREAT IDEA!!!!!! we could also add one that indicates we DO know where we are going, and maybe a different readout for the temperature controls too!!!!!
I'm with you, skippyp, if you find something, let me know. I happen to like the grab handles. I like the truck looking plain jane stock. It is easier to smoke the ricers, chebbies and drudges. And it keeps the dealer service from getting nervous.
You know, the Edge would be an awesome digital gauge cluster, but it only monitors egt and boost. Wish they'd set it up to take inputs from whatever you'd like. I suppose it's geared towards working with the juice, but I'm not into that. It's got a 4-section screen, so I'd like to see boost, transtemp, egt, and have a bonus slot.

You can look at the X-Monitor. It is a digital gauge that show trans, pyro and boost in the same window. It also stores the high number in each with max alarm setting for each. It goes under the grab bar. I have some pics in my gallary.

I've seen the xmonitor, but it looks kinda boring (compared to the attitude or analog gauges). That's why I thought the attitude would be a cooler looking thing (after all, this is all nice-to-have stuff, anyway).
I'm not sure what I'd do with the 4th slot. Maybe settle the argument over pre-post turbo temp monitoring?
They do make a pillar panel for the pass. side. Autometer makes a set of covers and the driver's side can have 2 or 3 gauge sockets and both match the Lariat woodgrain colors. Go to http://www.dieselperformanceparts.co....pl/dieselshop and then scroll to the very bottom for these fancy covers. I have not bought them (yet) but since I have a Lariat this is what I am getting. I imagine that since they make both sides that you could get a right side cover painted to match either tan or grey or black if that's what you need, I just haven't seen them in other colors.
