Anybody know the wheelbase length for a 69 F250, 2wd long box truck?
I need to get some ladder bars or something to help with traction. The FE446 is now making crazy amounts of power I can't put to the ground. I can't hardly drive it on street tires :-)
hey gtex, i was lookin at your pics of the 67F250 and i was wondering how much your exhaust setup cost you because that is pretty much exactly the same exhause setup i want to run. Right now i just have the open headers. I am also debating on dynomax or magnaflow mufflers right now. Thanks

If you're talking headers to tip, and including the electric cut-outs, it's around $1500. lemme see if I can add it up.
FPA headers: $650
tips, mufflers, H-Pipe and cut-outs: $350
plumbing and installation (aluminaized 2.5" plumbin and a few custom bends/welds): $350
electric cut-outs: $200
so, about $1550.....
But i sounds awesome with teh 4 pipes, and if I really want some attention, I flip the cut-out switch :-)
Thanks gtex, I'll definately have to look into getting that exhaust setup except I may have a problem with the gas tank being in the way. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out some way to go around it. By the way, I looked through your homepage and your truck is sweet. I wish I would have spent a little more money when I rebuilt my engine to beef it up more. Oh well, I cant complain with what I have now.

If you will check the rating and safety decal, well, metal tag, on your driver's side door, it will give you the wheelbase of your truck.
