Cool IT'S BACK (clunk)

Had the TSB done about a month ago(Grease and Clutch Pack). Put 1500 miles on the truck since then. It was smooth sailing for awhile. Guess what came back last week. CLUNK!!!!!
It's a little more subtle than the original and it doesn't happen every time, but it's still there.
Anyone else experience this?
Time to go talk to my buddies at Island Ford.

Yup, that's the one. now that my truck is in for failed brakes, i got the dealer to admit that this is only a temporary fix. He has the same problem on his Expedition

FYI - They ended up replacing my entire drive shaft in addition to replacing clutch pack. And yes, they greased my yoke twice. (Felt Great)

If it happens again, replace it with Detriot True trac, its best limited slip!

I will do this if the clunk comes back, my replaced last month and have no problem since...knock on wood

Having the same problem. Only happens once and awhile when I take off. I hear it more when I accelerate around a corner, come to a coast, and then accelerate again. It sounds like the transmission drops out of my truck. After the sound, I lose power for a moment, and then the truck runs fine. Does anyone know if this would have anything to do with a clunk when I put my truck in reverse? Thanks-
