Today I notice that my tail light wasn't working and my turn signals. I found a blown fuse in the fuse box and the wire coming from the brake switch on the pedal was burnt. I change the fuse and now I have brake lights and know turn signals. When I pull the head light switch on I have all the lights. When I press on the brake and put on the left turn signal I see smoke coming out around the steeling column. My flasher does't work either.
Everything runs through your turn signal switch in the column, even the brake signal. Thats where I would look first, without a steering wheel puller it will be tough to get the steering wheel off. Autozone and like places "rent" them for free.

Thanks DCotton
That sound like some good information. I will purchase a turn signal switch. I have a wheel puller so I know I have a start. Do that switch has anything to do with the right tail light bulb getting dim when I push up the turn signal for the right.
