Question about window popping......Please Reply
I had to have the window regulator replaced in the passenger side front door the other day and now sometimes when I let that window down, there is a popping noise that can be heard as if the window is hitting something. Whenever I do hear the pop, it is heard when the window is letting down and when it is going back up into the top of the door, and after I hear the pop, as I am driving down the road there is a ticking or rattle noise that can be heard. To fix the ticking noise, I have to let the window up and down until I don't hear the pop when it enters the top of the door, then I don't hear the ticking any more. The window doesn't pop every time when letting up or down, just sometimes, but when it does, the ticking starts. Any thoughts?
