Has anyone here had any experience with aftermarket seats in their trucks? I'm not talking about hacking in junkyard seating, but the new kits like (I'll hold my nose while saying it ) APC. It looks like I'll be keeping this truck for a while.(Mrs. F- is expecting, so no new truck for me ) I want to upgrade from that miserable bench that's in it. The 250 is an extended cab so the seats need to fold forward. Thanx for your inputs!

i found a nice set of seats with center concole out of 93 bronco for my 93 f150 at local junk yard at a great price $50.00 for all. you want to spend some time looking around and you will be able to find some that matches your trim. seats with little problems but had to change carpet because mat did'nt go all the way under old bench seat. good luck with that baby thing
That's what it says. Hope they are comfy! I was looking more like 5-800 dollars range. Like these; http://www.slickcar.com/productdetai...ProductID=3144 Yeah, they are a bit ricy, but anything is better than the old one.
Hey Jmurphy, did you have a bench? If so what style (xlt, eddie Bauer) model bronco? I have a 94 flareSide reg.cab 5sp and I looking for something like that(bronco)set up.Besides 50 dollars is easier to come up with than 1500.00

Reason: incorrect verbage
!!!!OMG!!! thats $33 more than i payed for my truck.
I found a nice set out of a 99 crown vic but they are grey. if i get them i have to find a way to change the color scheme to blue and grey if i went with them. I think i would end up changeding out the little cloth part on the dor panel to match the seats.

I had the old like blue/gray bench seat that comes on reg cab XL model truck. Im not sure what style bronco was but seats all the bells and whisles. I ran some new wire to power the seats when i had old mat out. I am very happy with new seats and have a place to put my cup is a nice bonus
i hacked in a set of taurus seats in my crew cab power and lumbar support and i love them plus the fabric pattern very closely matches the generic weave used on the OEM vinyl bench cost me 75$
I have a 93 crewcab, with two vinyl bench seats. Yeah, they are a little sticky in the summer, and a little cold in the winter, but with all the junkyarding I do, the ability to clean the entire interior with "fantastik" or "windex" is a major bonus for me. After 10-12 hours of serious junkyarding, I am absolutely filthy
Once I'm done collecting all the parts I need, and do the engine swap, I had planned on replacing the interior with leather, lumbar, heated seats, all the good stuff that makes driving long distances pleasurable. Except, I don't want to give up six passenger seating, so that ruled out almost everything. So, since I like to make small projects into huge, annoying projects, I bought two working, very ripped up leather seats out of a 93 Lincoln Town Car, tore off all the leather and removed the lumbar supports, lumbar controls, etc. What I'm going to do is remove my vinyl seats, strip them down, weld in the lumbar mechanisms to the frame, restuff the front bench seat, then cover both of them in dark red leather to match the interior. Then apply an aftermarket carpet for the floor... hopefully I can find carpeting for crewcabs, haven't seen it yet but also haven't looked very hard. Another option is low-plush house carpet heavily scotchguarded.
Yes my friend, take off your shoes before you get into my truck
I have so much to do with this truck... it started off as a simple 351W-->351W engine swap and has turned into full R&R bumper to bumper. Aurgh!
