Tire Carrier
Does anyone know of another tire carrier that might fit my BII. the ones that fit on most BII's do not fit on mine. the problem is that the top hinge on most BII's bolt on the passenger side and then it wraps around and also bolts under where the rear door closes. I need it to only attach on the passenger side of the truck it can't wrap around underneath the rear hatch?

On my 89 BII the carrier attaches midway on the right body side & than near the bottom on the body not below the hatch. Mine is the standard set up . I have a spare factory set up. Has yours ever had a carrier?

I am not sure if the one that was on it was stock or an after market product. when I bought it, it had the hinges for the tire carrier, but it did not actually have the carrier. the hinges that are on it I have never seen on any BII before. the top hinge has four bolts that attach directly on the side of the BII, it does not wrap underneath wear the hatch closes. The bottom hinge is located just below the rear hatch, it wraps around the side of the car but it is not covered by the hatch. It also has 4 bolts, 2 bolts attach on the side and the other 2 bolts attach on the rear of the BII. The hinges also look way different than on all other BII's I've seen. instead of the hing being real small and kind of rounded off, my hinge sticks way out and is kind of flat. Does this sound like what yours is like? If so do you know where I could get one for cheap? or one at all? thanks for your help.
