been busy working on the truck, i got my new carb installed today and posted a video link to showing how well she runs now. other then that i work 20 hours a day during the week and spend the weekends doing honeydoo's.
I am still lurking around been on the offroad forum mostly, getting parts together for the new engine, and trying to get the old engineout of the truck, and get it ready for the big block etc, etc
As far as I have heard it is still a go not sure if fellro is still planning on making it but I want to attend the swap meet, and the meeting is a good excuse to give the wife, unless noone else shows up we will have some kinda meeting regardless, although we do still have to decide when and were to get together.
i got two computer repair jobs in the afternoon saturday in iowa city, so i will be there in the morning hours. hopefully driving the truck. right now she is running good and strong. are we all still meeting for coffee first ? and did we decide on where the coffee was too come from ? and at what hour did we decide to meet there
Sounds great... I am heading to CR on Friday evening. If the weather is decent I plan to ride the cycle. That will prevent me from buying too much at the swapmeet! Just need an address of where everyone wants to meet and I'll be there.
i think your nuts if you ride your bike, iowa weather changes so fast this time of year. one minute it is beautiful and the next cold and wet. i have been fooled twice because of this. once i went to a airshow in ankeny iowa on a beautiful fall day 80 degrees, 2 hours after i got there clouds formed and i got on the bike headed home, i was in the rain all day with only a light jacket. and then last year i went to iowa city on a beautiful fall day. 80 degrees, a cold front moved in and i rode home 86 miles at 42 degrees without a coat or helment. wearing a tshirt. so make sure your sure before you leave.
