I own a 98 sable with a 3.0L and i was unaware that the battery had reverse posts on it. When i called the Ford dealership i was told the sable and tarus shared the "reverse" connections.

Why would Ford use a battery that is unlike the majority? Sables and Taruses compromise a fair portion of Ford's fleet.

All i know is that this type of battery carries a premium price tag. baaah!!
