Hi, I'm new to this site. I have a 86 Ford F-250 4x4 A/T with a 351W. I was wondering how much HP and how much torque my engine has. My engine has 150,000 miles on it. Also how much power do you think I could get from getting a Y exhaust system, not true duals? Another thing is whats some cheap ($200) range, products that I could do to increase power. I already have a K&N airfilter. I'm lookin at gettin new headers, any good ideas? Thanks alot FORD guys!
IMO, keep your money, bolts ons to nothing but lighten you wallet and disappoint.
ONe exception, headers, get some long tubes (designed for torque), these will compliment everything you do later on.
Free up your exhaust might get you 15-20 hp, actually feeling it would be another story.
IMO, save your money, keep surfing the net and when you come across a guy or gal making the kinda hp and tq you'd like to be making, copy what they have done. Then you won't have as great a chance buying mismatched parts on your way to reaching a certan goal.
