Blow by hose

Does anyone have a suggestion as to why I accumulate so much oil on the underside of my air filter where the blow hose enters inside the housing? '90 302

pcv valve stuck if it dont rttle it is bad

Replace the PVC valve and if the problem doesn't go away, you have a much worse problem, blow by. This is where combustion gasses get past the piston rings and pressurise the oil, which forces it into your airbox. The only way to fix it would be to re-build the engine. If you don't have money for a re-build, it is safe to drive (just have to constantly by airfilters) until a cylinder losses all compression, and the engine has no power. I have the same problem with blow by on my '92 with the 302, and it runs fine, been driving it like that for more than a year, and it just pushed out some of the best mpg's I've ever got.
