Dunno yet, the truck is still in CA. I test drove one over here a while ago and it was ok. Having spoken to other LHD car drivers in the UK they say the only real problem is seeing enough to overtake - in which case you either rely on the passenger or hold further back to improve visability and then boot it to get past.
The other problem is that things like drive-throughs are all on the wrong side (but I very rarely eat at them) and parking ticket machines are on the wrong side - will be easier in my Bronco as I have 3 seats in front rather than a cubby box so its easy to scoot across to get the ticket. One of the bigest problems with driving big trucks is height restrictions around town car parking lots. Many are 6'6" of which my Land Rover only just fits at the moment so I'm sure a lifted bronco doesn't stand a chance (and some times the actual height restriction is much less than the stated as my Landy found out to its peril, as did the security camera that was hanging from the roof of the parking lot, its got squashed!)
Many of our rural roads are barely 7' wide so it gets a bit tight in places - but unless I meet a Milk Tanker coming from a farm I guess a Bronco has priority when head to head. I have heard it said that Americans never built "Courtesy" into their trucks! LOL
It will be fun playing round up with all the little "boy-racer" cars that seem to litter our roads these days.
I'll report back my findings when it gets its *** over here and I can drive it.
Well you shouldn't have any trouble seeing things past the vehicle in fron tof you if the Bronco is lifted. Just look over the little ones that are in the way.
BTW is you "employer" sending the Bronco over for you or are you doing it yourself?
