93 AWD, starter bad?
Well, this seems to be a popular topic and one I've had to deal with before but here goes anyway: When you try to start, it just "clicks". Battery looks fine, recharged it, a bit of corrosion, not bad. Assuming the cable to the starter isn't broke, is there ANYTHING else it could be besides a bum starter?

Sure is a rash of starter failures today. Sorry about the circumstances but its good to hear from you again biederboat. You problems sounds like the other two postings. Prepare to get dirty pulling that starter out - sounds like a bad one to me. See the post about the repair kit. Did mine two years ago and it works just like new plus saves a whole bunch of dough. Looks like 10-11 years is the lifespan of these starters.
