front end swap over
Hi i have a 72 F100 and have a slight problem
I bought it with out power steering and it is really hard to turn, dangerously unstable
I priced a power steering conversion kit at $2200 which is alot
Anyway i was wondering if there was any other late model ford for instance XE or XD that the front end would be compatible with mine
Either that or if anyone has any other solutions im all ears and would appreciate the help

Buy a donor truck, '73 - 79 with the PS, PB and other upgrades or changes you want, and transplant the parts into yours.
Research FTE for all the details, they are here, on what and how to upgrade everything.

conversion cost
FonzF100, even if you use a "good reman" power steering box like from Meridian in Calif. 279 dollars, app 10 for the pitman arm, pump, bracket and new hose you would be under 350 dollars. If you already have the short steering column all the better, just replace the rag joint. Carl...o&o>........
