Rim Backspacing

I have a 79 F-150 4x4 with a stock 3" lift on it. I was given a nice set of 16" mud tires and now I have to buy a set of rims for them. The rims I am looking at come in either 4.25 in or 5 in backspacing. Which would be the best to go with. The tire size is 33x10.50.

You will have to measure your stock rims and find out the existing offset.

i'm running 4" backspace on my 15x8's w 235's, and you can see the drum past the back wheel when your behind the truck..... as long as the tires will clear up front, i'd get the 4.25's
