Got Milk?

So anyway......A couple years ago.....I started this milk thing. If I drank a big glass of milk....I would feel off balance, not quite right. If I drank a big glass of milk, and went to bed...I would wake up with something like a hangover that would last most the day. Didnt much inderstand it. Dont drink much milk, no real effect in lifestyle.
Recently I have began to slowely switch over to Soy Milk. Man.....I feel better. All the 'health problems' some say dairy can cause are no more. My headaches from milk are gone.....including the "hangovers".
I now consider myself a hippy soy milk drinker. Thats okay with me. As I start to get older.....I realize I may want to take a litttle extra care of myself, maybe try and make up for all the damagefrom being younger and immortal.
Been drinkin this Silk Soy stuff.....about he same price as real milk.

I know no one really cares....but just incase you gonna get on the train.

you are probably lactose intolerant. if so, you should also avoid ice cream, and very cheesy foods. bummer!

My wife and I found out the same thing. She used to eat cerial w/milk at night and she would get sick. Same with ice cream. I drank milk all my life, but have been on "Atkins" for a couple of years w/no milk. I miss it, but can live w/o it.

Actually.....I almost didnt make it thru infancy.....was so allergic to milk....not even formula was an option. Ended up IV fed some crap. So I guess it only makes sense to come back around....as long as not to far back around.
Dont wanna do diapers again till my 90's.

I drank milk once, about 50 years ago.. Haven't had any since, and very happy about that. I consume small amounts of Goat's milk yogurt, and small quantities of un modified cheese, from Bovine, Goat or Sheep. I never could imagine why anyone would drink anything in quantity that was designed as baby food - cow baby at that.

A word of caution about soy. It is an oestrogen synthisizer.. this can, and will play havoc with various systems of the body, providing overdoses of female hormone. There are a lot of folk who scientifically support that statement, but unfortunately the mainstream medical profession are not included in those supporting it.

It is probable that Everyone is in some way intolerant of milk - for those who say, "but I drink a gallon a day, and have done for years.... " try not doing, and seeing how differently your body systems function.

added on edit

Sliknspeedy is totally Bovine intollerant - she cannot have any bovine dairy, or meat.. Since finding that out, she has become much healthier, with better respiration, clearer skin, and better bodily functions.. She will also probably kill me for mentioning it.

Yucko, soy milk tastes a bit awful to me... But I sure do love milk! Mainly drink 2%, but can tolerate 1%, and also like whole milk. And I can't get enough ice cream.

Soy products and soy milk are a good way for post menopausal women to get rid of hot flashes.

I haven't got time to get any links yet today.. I have to take Slik's truck to the Tranny place... The only time they had today was 9.00 am..

Soy is really good for women's problems, which is why there is no way on this earth I am ever going to consume the stuff... It is, however, recommended for guys who some types of cancer, or threat of some kinds of cancer. doing a search for 'problems with soy' should find enough to make you think...

Hey Theo.....I'm sure in no hurry for links....but I appreciate the heads up.

To say I was dropped on the head would be an understatement.

Like this off the wall very weird eccentric guy told me He's an outerspace alien on hyperspace trip. The big difference.......he really thinks he's an alien. No, I have no idea what that had to do with anything.

Better be careful, too much lactose in conjunction with high levels of butterfat can cause a rare medical condition which causes the stricken party to have an intense urge to start threads.
