Better be careful, too much lactose in conjunction with high levels of butterfat can cause a rare medical condition which causes the stricken party to have an intense urge to start threads.
Man, you had me freaked out there for a second. I would probably drink about 1 1/2 gallons a week but the turnover time from gallon to gallon slows me down and i only eat butter, no margerine. Thats why everyone should own their own dairy cow
The sad part about this is you can find wacko's out there to support any and all wacko thoughts you may have Milk cannot be drank by some just like some cant be in the sun light... If you can't drink it don't, don't try to convince everyone the sky is falling because some left wing wacko has a grudge against cows and or society
Sorry no offense ment to anyone on here just having a horrible day
Been drinkin this Silk Soy stuff.....about he same price as real milk.
I know no one really cares....but just incase you gonna get on the train. [/QUOTE]
I am not a milk drinker anymore due to many health and other reasons, but i am not a big fan of soy milk either. I do eat a fair about of soy but soy is contains many undigestable proteins that must be processed out before humans can eat it. Hence it is not a food naturally really fit for human consumption. Soy also contains many plant estrogens that for a male in large doses may not be all that healthy. Drink rice and almond milk now. For me that works best.
There is not a dang thing wrong with milk if you can have it. It is ggod for the bones and body. No one has ever died from milk, unless they were lactose intolerant. It is the best stuff ever, glass a day keeps the doc away. I usally drink a big glass a day and no problems. Too many people now days are just trying to scare you about drinking it because they think it is wrong. Truckertaz has got it right. Also, I can not drink or eat anything with soy in it, the smell and taste makes me vomit, but it does not mean it is bad for you.
I don't much like the taste of milk myself i only time i can drink it is when its favored. I have never really drank all that much milk with makes me wonder why i've never had any broken bones.
Go to www.quackwatch.com for a dose of scientific reality. You can, and should spend a lot of time reading there, IMO. Helps cut through all the BS on the net and news.

Actually milk is probably the worst source of calcium one can have. The dairy industry has spent decades using questionable info on the health benefits of milk and none of the negative aspects. Example. What countries have the highest rates of osteoporosis? Those that consume the most dairy! Where is it the least? Places of the world where there is no or very little dairy consumption. Another example. The entire continant of africa drinks very little milk, however one group, the masai live almost exclusivly off milk. Guess who has the worst bones in Africa? If you want strong healthy bones get 30 min of sun a day and eat your greens! Modern milk is filled with dozens of pestiside residues, antibiotics, and LOTS of puss! On top of that the pasturiztion process (good thing given the massive modern dairies) kills all the health bacteria that normaly would help with digestion of the milk. One last point. Milk is babies so they can grow fast and get reliable nutrition. Once they are grown cow do not continue to drink milk! And they dont go to another species for it! If milk is so good why dont we drink dog milk or at least drink human milk our whole lives? Just some things to think about.

Well, I think having a human dairy farm is a little over the top, don't you?
I know that growing up on a dairy farm drinking whole milk (not pasteurized) did me good. I stand 6'5" tall and I am very healthy! When I lived on the farm, I would drink a gallon in 2 days.
I now live in the city and still drink 2% milk every day and I'm doing great.
Please don't think that I'm slamming anyone that is lactose intolerant because I would never do that.
This condition is most common among people of Asian, American Indian, Hispanic and South American, and black heritage.
Nearly 98% of Scandenavian heritage can drink milk! (I'm glad I'm a Viking!)

I'm gonna agree with the horrible day plan. I'm not sure.....but I think I'm having one of the worst.
For those of us who can drink milk-drink organic, it's sweet, healthy and the closest thing to being on a dairy farm. I remember getting fresh milk and my mom pasteurizing it-the best!
For those who can't drink,sorry that's a bummer.
