What Birdhunter1 said. Rules are what keeps NASCAR going and rules are what keeps FTE what it is. Sometimes rules are hard to enforce but you just have to.

nascar needs to follow up with the other two fines the issued earlier. even though he didn't say the words in anger, then what happens the next time, who decides if they were said outta anger. whether the fine be money or points, these guys make more money in a year then i'll ever see, so big friggin deal

I really don't even follow Nascar or him, nor does anyone of my family members. Although, I can say we had a family discussion-as we often talk current events at the dinner table. And we all agreed (Not often occurring) that the man got robbed. Not only that, but the media implied depending on which one you watched that he said the F word instead. Anything for a story. If it is in deed wrong to say S*@T- then fine the man the $10k and have it done but don't drop him in points because of it. And also fine everyone at every football game, or nascar event that says anything compareable and that you can tell what they say, baseball game, etc etc., until we are either tired of fining or it ends. ALso, I want prime time TV shows that say b$st$rd, etc,as well as showing implied sex scenes- that are prime time to have to pay as well- if we are going to fine a guy for saying Sh@#, fine everyone equally and everytime. I love that just yesterday Howard Stern annouced that he is going to satillite radio to avoid the fines, and his stock sky rocketed. I am really actually tired as well as others I am certain of censorship, fines and control of what we see. You have the right to turn things off in your home or don't buy the Dvd - - it is your home if your kid watches it - then it is your fault if you allow it. I love the Saprannos - it is about the only show I watch that is filled with "BAD WORDS". Not because of I am afraid of BAD WORDS - just I don't really care for most series But, I can not imagine it otherwise. Before my divorce, would i have let my step children see it ?"- No, BUt that was my choice. Would I have been Pi$$ed if they seen Earnhart spout the bad word S$$it, no as people hear it in everyday conversation. I think this -incorrect / politically incorrect/ tell what we can see/ fine some not others world is a joke. ENd the cheap tricks like Janet Jackson and fine her personally so much no one will ever do it again and don't worry about the word S$$T or if howard stern says what - which you know he will, don't listen if you don't like. It's funny you can't say this , can't say that, blah, blah. Quite frankly I don't want a damn censorship police to tell me how my world is going to be or past judgement on me , or limit me. I will be the judge of that. IF you don't want your children or yourself to be subjected then don't listen/turn it on. ANd if you are going to run this world in that manner you have to fine everyone - everytime. I hate rap but if someone wants to listen to it that is their business, remember they have tried to allow every from of rock since it's birth. Becasue it contained dirtyness. I would hate to think how Sh@$y of a world we would be if the religous right had their way. Make everyone responsible for theirselves and their off spring and let everyone be responsible for their ownself- not fine a guy and certianly not drop a guy points over a simple slip of a highly used overated word. The guy got robbed - and I actually hate NAScar and yet I back him 100%. Sorry, I said I hate Nascar that is my choice as well - wonder if someone is going to tell me I have to watch it.A deal over nothing once again.
