cleveland valves

I am getting ready to rebuild another 351M. I was wondering if anyone had put the bigger valves in it, the 2.19 Intake. Is it worth the money, will I see a big improvement over stock. If anyone has done this please let me know.

I wouldn't bother with the intake, they flow good enough & 2.19 would be too big for the port. But I think it would be worth while to put the 4v exhaust valves in it.

I think I spent about $800.00 on my heads. The mid and big end are noticably improved on my 400. Was it worth it? Sitting here at the desk looking at my bank balance, no, driving the truck and smiling... yes.

BTW, I learned here from Danlee the big valves should be cut down (shrouding). Search here or find the Aussie CH3V (?) performance heads and copy their valve sizes.
