need power steering
I tore the power assist out of my pickup a long time ago because it leaked really bad and i didnt have any money. now i have some money, but cant seem to find anything really affordable. i have the system with the assist cylinder and the control valve on the tie rod (the diagnal one on the f-100s). the cylinder and the valve leaked really bad, and i was wondering what my options are to keep cost to a minimum. THANKS!

I assume you are talking about a F100/F150 4x4... What year?
Several of the posters swap that style for the newer integral power steering - where all the power assist is in the steering box. There is a tech article about doing this swap to a F250, much of it will apply to F100/F150 too. Also search the past threads for details.
