electric fans
Here's one I found...

Alot of people think they are less efficient than stock. Well, they are. But as long as you dont live in a climate where its usually over 90 degrees, then i wouldnt worry about it. With a/c blasting in some 90 degree days, it wouldnt overheat at all for me. I suppose if you ahd to cruise around going 5 miles an hour in traffic, then there *MAY* be problems. Even idleing at stoplights on hot days, the truck doesnt overheat. If your truck is in good shape maintainence wise, I wouldnt worry about it overheating. Fans are going to be about 200 bucks. jegs or summit have them for like 194$.
One question? Are you looking for some more power, or are there other reasons for doing this? If your looking for power, your biggest bang-for-the-buck is going to be a diablo chip. If you scroll to the top of the screen in the right hand corner you'll see the words "PARTS SHOP" in red. Click on it, and you can find the chips there for about 200 bucks. They require you to use premium fuel, but they are worth every penny.
I have a chip on my 94, and it was by far the biggest power gain i've ever noticed, bigger then the fan. It also firms up the shift in your auto tranny reducing temperatures thus making it last longer.
The electric fan was a big PAIN to install for my year truck. I had to call because there wasnt quite enough room between teh radiator and the water pump for it. Flex-a-lite said they had more complaints from people owning 93-94 rangers with the 4.0 engine experienceing the same problem. For some reason they made the fit a litte tight for these years. I imagine it should work on your truck just fine though. I just had to do some shimming on my fan, and it fit. Works good, i have mine set to run when the truck is off, but still warm. I often get people asking "what is that noise" and such because they have no idea what it is.
Sorry for the long post, hope it helped some.
