I have a 96 and i allready replaced the auto hubs with some warn manuals. Lately my left front wheel is makin noise. i assume its the wheel baring makin noise. Im up at college right now, do i need any special tools to ge in there and fix it?
Pretty easy to pull and repack, you just need a socket from Autozone for $10 to do adjust the bearings, looks like a big deepwell with four tabs to adjust the nut.
Could be brakes too. If your brake disc needs replacing, you can knock it off the hub by driving the wheel studs out with a brass hammer. The antiskid sensor ring will come off that way too (looks like a big ring gear) its just a press fit.
