The department I work in has all of 5 people.. All artists and all crazy. We get along great , I love every one of them so yes I would consider them firends and would call upon them for anything. I feel very lucky to have worked with these people! It makes coming to work everyday a pleasure!

There are people here at my job that are truly friends ,because we hang out after work, partisipcate in sports etc...
Some are associates because we don't have that much contact.

I get along with most of the persons in my office, but almost never socialize outside of work. Some co-workers come over to my place to pick apples & grapes each season, but that's about it. I think keeping a distance helps the office work better.

To tell you all the truth the only reason I have friends at school is because I got a job. most of my acquaintences from before I got my job are all a bunch of jackarses and are the ones that I have had stab me in the back but the guys and few gals at work are the best friends I have had since high school. I think it all boils down to the point that if someone is willing to stay at a job long enough to make friends with then they must have some of the same interests that you do and that is what friends are about right?

I don't go to work to make friends. I go to work to make money.

That is my position also, even though I do have one buddy at work that I consider a good friend.

My work is in road construction. Here is is seasonal with winter layoff's.

Last year I did buddy up to this one guy, I would consider him a friend. I went to the company picnics and all the parties just because of him.

I was a little disappointed that he didn't return to the company this year. He was the only one that I enjoyed chatting with.

Well oddly enough, layoff is just about a month away again.

Several different companies share the same radio frequency in this area for safty & communication reasons. Recently I was talking to another worker from a different company & all of a sudden another guy came on the radio and said "Dan, is that you" well ofcourse I had to answer. It turned out to be that chum that I worked with last year.

Now I hope I can get back to that job in the city, just so I can chat it up with him.

I have one really good friend at work, but we met each other years before and both of us applied for a couple of openings at this place and we both got hired. There are a few others here that I guess I would consider friends....but not really close friends if you know what I mean. That's my 2 cents.

I work for a wedding and party rental company. I am a delivery driver. A few of the guys there are my friends at work and outside of work. But we do get in arguements there. But once 5 o clock rolls around all is forgotten. There is one guy though that claims to be all our friends but if he comes to your house you bet your butt he is leaving with something you dont know about. And he owes me $35 from a month ago that he claims he doesnt have. But he has money to go drinking and partying. Why we hang around him I'll never know. He lies constantly too. And if we go to lunch together, he ALWAYS "forgets" his wallet or credit cards. Two of the other guys are cool though.

sounds like a real shady character there.... kinda makes you wonder why your boss would ever keep a guy like that on the roll call
