Will Ford negotiate finance rates?

They show 6.9% on a 2005 72 month loan still. I have a beacon of over 740 and will put down over 20%. Will they deal or am I going to have to shop around before picking my truck up on Tuesday?

Ford doesn't negotiate an incentivized rate. It's take it or leave it.

CapitolOneAutoFinance did really well for me online and sent a reply within 10 minutes through email. Better than the quote Ford Credit gave me. My 2005 f-350 was in my hands as of last night. Thank you Jeff!! I shopped it all over while I was waiting for my ordered truck to come in.

It shows as an incentivized rate in Ford's Incentives and Rebates program. Ford's standard rate for 72 months is in the 8-10% area.

That's nuts. It is what it is though. I understand the EDS credit union goes as low as 4.49% for 72 months. I think I'll try that route and see what rebates, if any, Ford comes out with on Tuesday. No sense in rushing to pick up my truck if I can save a few hundred bucks.

There you go! Ford has made enough from your purchase already; why give any more to Ford Credit?
