Help ! My Expy is driving erractically !!!

Hello Fellow Ford Members ,

My 99 Expy is pulling off the road under medium accelleration . Lets say your going 50 mph and you gas it to passing gear , the truck wants to pull off the road , its could be dangerous if you did not know . My steering wheel is off a tad too. This seem to happen after I pulled a junk car out the bushes in the back forty . I pulled it from the trailer hitch though and i was center to the vehicle . Most guys say I have bent rear control arm or a bad bushing . I cehecked it out and everything seems tight and its not noisy when hitting bumbs . Anybody heard of this happening before ? I am getting grossed out driving this thing and need to fix it . Truck has 130,000 and has always tracked straight with a perfectly centered steering wheel ? Any Suggestions ??

Thanks ,
Bodine

Have you brought the truck for a 4 wheel alignment?

Sound's to me like you skewed the alignement when pulling that junker out.

Find a good shop with a computerized laser alignment and throw it up on the rack.

I bet ya your way off.

Dont forget to rotate the ole tires after alignment.

I dont know if our Expy's have floater rear ends, but if they do, you could also have a broken axle. Keep in mind that this is probable worse case senario...

so I am sure I have a bent or bad bushing in the rear
What makes you think that, specifically? Is it that you see/hear/feel something broken, or that it's just *that* obvious when you drive it?
