Looking at a 96 F-150 XLT, 302 auto.Which transmission would this truck have in it? Thanks.

If it has transmission code "U" then it is the 4R70W (truck version of the AOD-E).

I have a 1995 with the 4R70W also. 134,000 miles on the truck. Still shifts fine.
