Does diablo cure no lockup?
I have a 2000 F-350 crew cab auto with a powerstroke, and when I downshift on steep grades, or not for that matter, when I downshift to 2nd or 3rd anywhere and let off the throttle the tranny drops out of lockup and the engine goes to idle. This makes for some hairy trips in the mountains as I have to stay in overdrive and go 70+ mph or drop to 1st and stay below 40. I've been looking at the diablo predator programmer, but it does'nt say it addresses this problem. Anyone else have this problem or is mine just messed up, its done it since I got it.

If you take it out of overdrive "the buttom on the shifter" it will try to hold it in gear. I have a Diablo Predator and it will do the same in OD but it really just depends on the tune you use and the trans setting.
