2.8 carb ISC

I have an 84 Bronco II (same as the Ranger) with the Motorcraft 2150 carb. I am trying to get the ISC solenoid properly adjusted to stop the hunt at idle. I have the solenoid backed off now so that it doesn't do anything, but then I have to have the idle adjusted up high to keep the engine from lugging down and dying when I put it in gear (auto transmission). Haynes and Chiltons both say nothing on the ISC, other than the idle is controlled by the computer. Any ideas?

I need to know that one, too! I can't find anything on that adjustment.

I ended up just moving the solenoid all the way up as close to the throttle as I could, then let it work from there. At least this way it has less of a tendency to drop the idle too far and stall.
