fuel pressure regulater?
i suspect that my pressure reg is bad as it has a loud tick that comes from it or shoud i say tick tick tick when the engine is running. its not coming fromthe motor as you can put your hand on the regulater and feel it tick. this item looks simple to replace. is it ? and secondly would this bad regulater be the cause of a rough running engine sometimes it runs rough sometimtes it doesnt. plugs,wires,cap and rotor were all replaced about 2 months ago so im ruling those items out. this is an 88 with a 2.9. any help would be appreciated.

fuel pressure regulater?
Replaced mine a month ago on my 89 B II for rough running and hard start up. Pull the vacum line off the back of it. If there is any gas, it is leaking. They are easy to replace and cost between $30.00 & $50.00 dollars depending on where you go.
