Man, that metal dash sure is shiny on that camper truck because SOMEBODY had to go and buy that cherry dash for $15!! hahahahaMan, I was diggin' the **** carpet and the fancy camper. I did end up with a turn signal switch (mainly for the cam), a sunvisor bracket, and the defroster grilles for my METAL dash because SOMEBODY bought the last cherry original dash in Texas for $15. hahahaha
I got real excited when I saw the fuel sender in the F100. I actually had an ohm meter on it and it read 120+ ohms so I said "yippie" and took it out. Unfortunately, the wiper must be broken off and laying on the potentiometer, because it always reads 120+ohms no matter where the float arm is. And the radio was shot too.
Then I went down the road to "Gold Dusters" auto parts. They put the "gold" in "gold dusters". They wanted $250 for a 60/40 seat out of a '98 F150. So I packed it up and got the same seat from Best on Red Bluff for $75. All in all, not a bad day, especially considering the whole time I had my pocket radio tuned to the ASTROS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
