No locking with Np-203....

No locking with Np-203....
I have a 79 250, NP-203 part time kit installed...problem is it locks great into 4 Lo, but will not lock at all into 4 Hi, the problem is something to do with the transfer case itsself, the linkages are adjusted fine. It almost seems as the problem is with the top lever coming out of the t-case that controls locking? Is that a common problem? Is it a possibility? Where could i find resources for troubleshooting this problem other than the sites i have found searching this forum ( they alll have to do with part time kits and rebuilds, or swapping from a NP-205, etc) Any help is appreciated, especially with the snow happening up here. Thanks.
