Hey folks, just a quick question. My buddies 84 B-II just seized up. He has an 85 Stang with a 3.8. Are the two interchangeable? If so can we use the 2.8's intake and dizzy so as to eliminate needing to swap the computer over? Any and all help is appreciated.

Good luck my friend. The 3.8 + 3.0 I believe share the larger(same bolt pattern) bell housing. The tranny or bell would have to be swapped as well depending on what u got in there to start. If you're going to do it, it's worth it to swap the computer and related stuff if you have it already. Lots of work, but worth it.
I'm working on one of my own and wondering if it is worth it myself.
