Question Holes from tonneau cover snaps HELP!!

Hi all. I'm removing the snaps from an old tonneau cover installation on my truck. The snaps were riveted onto the truck. Does anyone know the best way to fill the holes from the rivets? Body filler or spot weld? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Spot weld will most likely take longer however it will give a better result in my opinion. I know body fill cracks very easily from past experiences and would recommend limiting your use of it. Also you might still have to use a small amount of fill on top of you spot welds, if you are trying to get professional results. Best thing to do in either case is take your time, follow all directions (on the can of fill), and be patient.
