E-250 5.4 performance mods?

I guess I'm just an old hot rodder at heart, but now that I've got my "new" van, I want to do SOMETHING to make if faster, more efficient or louder.....LOL! I find the newer style intake already pulls cool air in to the engine. I have converted every vehicle I own to K&N's so I guess this one is next. Can't dual it out as the oxy sensor is right in front of the muffler. I usually remove the airbox silencer and stuff like that......

Any other ideas?

Has anyone ever tried any of those tuners? Does it really work? How much more gas does it use?

Usually with a tuner you will see an increase in fuel mileage. The more power the engine makes, the less work it has to do to maintain a cruising speed, the better the fuel mileage will be.
