65 Ford dually

Hi everyone.I have been looking for a site like this for awhile.I am computer illiterate so Im not to good at this.I have read some posts about what every one with the f350 dually, wheels.I have a original truck with 13,000 miles on it.It has stake sides with two grain dumps at the rear.It has 352 in it whit a four speed.Of course it had to be pee green and white (nice 60s color).I'm a BMW tech for a living but i love old cars and trucks.I dont know what the value of the truck is but i would like to have an idea.Im also into welding and machine shop work.I was thinking of going to the eight lug six 1/2 pattern by welding and drilling. No one in oklahoma will touch those split wheels.Mine are in good shape but would like to know if value would be lower if I did the modification.I saw that stockton was making the wheel for this truck.Should i wait for them,my tires are so dryrotted and flat spotted Im scared to take it for a spin.Truck runs great all looks good but I think someone put a different air cleaner on it.Wouldn't this truck have oil bath cleaner. It has a regular ford breather on it.All else looks right.I will get some pictures as soon as I figure that out.Nice to talk to everyone.

welcome to f.t.e. sounds like you have a real find there. i see by your profile you are in tulsa. there is a wheel shop in tulsa, fella makes any wheel you want. i will see if i can get his name for you, then you can have some solid rims made to order for your truck. check out the okie forum way down close to the bottom of the page while you are here.
