sorry but i couldn't get the links to work but to see the intake go to ebay and search for "FE intake magnesium" i think the price will get pretty high on this one.
The above link will work, but you have to cut and paste it into your browser... vs. clicking on it. I don't know why. I think there is a limit on the length of a URL. Make sure you don't cut and past the quotes.

Ever see magnesium burn? It's white hot! Water won't put it out, instead it will flare up and produce hydrogen gas. I don't think I want an intake mad of that stuff. They sell survivor kits with magnesium fire starters.
Ford has been using the Magnesium & Aluminum Alloy intakes for a number of years....and still uses this alloy in new engines today. The obvious reason is weight savings....however in the case the FE engines...it may very well have been the 2 barrel FE intake that defined the NEED! .... I have one sitting on my bench if anyone needs a good hernia.
