Exhaust thread size?

Exhaust thread size?
Could anyone tell me what thread size the exhaust studs/bolts are?I have replaced a couple of header bolts with longer ones since the ones that came with my headers are a little on the short side in my opinion.Are they sae or metric?Dont want to replace them with the wrong thread,the wrong one will still go in the soft aluminum.

I know this won't answer your question, Daryl, but after reading posts here (mostly yours) and looking at installing headers myself - I thought about tapping them to SAE and installing grade 8 studs. But they could be already...

But, I have to say, that I learned a thing or two about crossover pipes (tuners as we once called them) from how you set them up – so…
And besides, just knowing that you’re human and have needs makes things all warm and cozy here in the V10 section.

Really, i will make some contacts to exhaust companies about what size they are, i was hopeing someone would know for sure.I believe they are the same as 4.6's.
