Ujoints today
I am replacing the Ujoints on my 81 F150 2WD. How do I get the rear joint off of the drive line after taking the two ubolts off and the spring steel keepres? Are these pressed on to the drive shaft? Also, the front has no ubolts, just the spring steel keepers.

My 83 has either the u-joints with u-bolts, or the spline ends....if I remember correctly.
I have the long box Supercab, so I have a hanger bearing. I had trouble with the rear shaft coming out, the splined end sets up a suction I guess.
Make sure you can get your grease gun tip on the zerk fitting on the new joint before you button it all up.
That 4 way u joint can be put in facing one of two ways..
