Cleaning Sensors

I'm going to clean out the sensors in my mom's Aerostar. I have some stuff called CRC Lectra-Motive Electric Parts Cleaner. The can says it cleans and degreases electric motors, starters, welders, electric cables, solenoids, alternators, coils, commutators, armatures, electric tools, and generators. I know that sensors are very sensitive. Is this stuff safe to use?

I use it all the time, no problem, also works great when you get water in the distributor

I would add "Never Spray them when Hot or Warm" the coating will flake off in a second.

if its working dont mess with the sensors.
