I have 6 or 7 of them, digital, dial, vernier. 4", 6", 12".
I also have about 20+ different micrometers... thread, inside, outside, depth, groove, disc, blade.
Dozens of scales. Numerous charts. Gage blocks. Radius gages.
The list goes on.

I have a couple of them, though I have not yet managed to find anything to use them on. I have measured the usual stuff, dog's nose, kid's ears, exhaust pipe, and such.. I want to get one of the really fancy digital ones also, so it can sit, quietly in my instrument case, doing nothing...
I also have a couple of long tape measures, that I wish to replace with one of the interesting things, you just point at things.... The guy looking at the new house, for financing used one - just pointed it at a wall, and got the accurate reading. (I checked with my trusty green 30' tape)
