Don't expect to get big smokey burn outs from a Bronco II. You may get a little squeal from the tires, but not much else. I have an '88 BII with 2.9 V6 & AT. Can't really do a burn out. Now drop in a 5.0, then that's a different story.

Blacklightningf150,
You installed 31x10.5x15 tires on a stock unlifted 89 Bronco2? Did you have any trouble with the tires rubbing the fenders or suspension? Do you recall what the rim width was? I am in need of new tires and was thinking 30x9.5x15 or 31x10.5x15 on my factory 15x7 rims.
Thanks
Mark
Doing a burnout with an AT is called a brakestand, what you do is put the truck in gear and keep your foot on the brake while hammering the gas so that the front tires are locked up and the the rear will start to spin then you can white smoke it till the cows come home or the tranny blows or you sieze your rear brakes. So yes you can do burnouts but don't expect the drivetrain to take it for very long they are not built for it. I hate sounding over bearing but I own an 85 BII with a 2.8 and you have the wrong vehical for doing that with, the full size broncos or pickup are a different story all together!!
