Quick radio power plug question

I want to put the original radio from my 86 F150 in something else. My manual covers the speaker plug, but not the power plug. It has three wires on it: orange, yellow, and blue. The blue goes to the light, but the other two disappear into the case. What do the orange and yellow wires go? Thanks!

radio hook up

the yellow should be hot 12v+ (mem power) . The orange should be 12V+ from the ignition Run key switch. Blue instrument lites.

Thanks. Do I need to hook up the yellow? It's an analog radio, so no electronic memory to worry about. Or is it different on this kind?

does it have a clock? if so you need to hook up the yella

Na, it's just a plain old radio with 2 dials, 5 manual push buttons, and a lens that you can see the old needle through. That's why I wonder if the other wire is part time power, because it sure don't need it.
