I've experianced this problem with my 89B2. When I push Unlock or Lock (electric) on my door, the passenger door lock will sometimes come up barely, and I have to repeatedly push the button, or it'll come halfway up and I need to push it again.
Also, my drivers door will NOT lock from the inside at all. With hand or electric locks. I have to manually go outside and lock it with the key. But if its locked and I open it with the interior handle, it unlocks itself.
Any ideas?
(The passenger door lock problem seems NOT to be a problem when the truck is moving (possibley battery is charged more? Nor does weather conditions seem to conflict when it wants to work))
Had the problem with sticking lock on my 89. Sprayed WD-40 down the release pull shaft & in and around that area. Use the long red spray tube to get the liquid in and around. It fixed mine. The alternative is to take off the cover & clean & lube everything.
