Fuel gague
Has anybody had trouble with the fuel gauge mine sudenly went to full and stays there untill I turn off the engine then it returns to empty also the outside temp is not reading right. I have 1999 super duty V10 with 31,000 miles on it an a entended warrenth can any body give me some input on this.

I have a 2004 F-250 v-10 and mine was doing the same thing. I took it in and Ford did replace something in the fuel tank. I haven't had any problems since. I cannot remember what part it was but I will check my paperwork and let you know.

fuel gauge
same problem with my 99 ford super duty v10. had to order fuel pump because fuel level sending unit is part of it. when i took the old one out, i was able to fix it by taking the sending unit apart and bending the contact so it applied more pressure to the veriable resistor.
