want a smoother ride?

I figured out how to smooth out the ride on Toulouse. Load a washer and dryer on the way to the Salvation Army in her. WOW, what a difference that made!

Enjoy the ride. Remember, that new 2005 F-150 next to you in traffic never gets a second look...

The ride was perfect when I was hauling the old engine block around. And the ride height was really cool too. The answer: haul stuff.

'53 rebuild (going back together)

I've taken the back spring set down to 5 leaves, but was afraid to take out leaves in the front to soften ride - the idea being that the load in front is basically the engine and that hasn't changed. I won't haul serious loads (unless a couple dogs is serious) in the back, so decreasing spring capacity there seemed reasonable.

Is it OK to take out leaves in the front?
