Door Hinges
I think my driver's door has finally had it! The hinge/pin assembly is finally worn to the point that the door is starting to slam the catch pin and not latch. It's amazing to see how much the whole door drops when it gets opened. S lay it on me folks is it pretty straight forward to change the whole hinge assembly or am I gonna be sorry 
that I have attempted it! Or maybe I can weld it shut and just paint an 01 on the door

My centurion is exactly the same. I think the person before me never replaced the nader bolt after the plastic bushing broke as they always do and caused unnecessary wear. I've been debating the best approach too. Would be much easier with two people so one can help steady the door. Maybe only replace one hinge at a time I am thnking, the worst part will probably be getting the rusty bolts out. I like the idea of "The General" except I would need an extension ladder to get in mine (hehe)

If your hinge pin holes haven't worn oblong to much you should be able to just replace the bushings at a fraction of the price of the hinge assembly. The last set I bought were like 10 bucks from the local NAPA store.

Well I have a friend who works at a dealership. Her cost is $60.00 for the top hinge and $62.00 for the bottom hinge. I was also quoted $88.00 for the top and $92.00 for the bottom with $60.00 hr for labor from a local garage. As far as replacing just the bushing, it's worn pretty much into the hinge assembly. I'm gonna pick up the hinges and then attempt to change them myself.
