I Need Toget Connecting Rods And Pistons For My 351 1970 Stock Clevland Engine I Dont Know If Any Of These Parts Are Interchangeable With The Winsor 351.

not really. the rods are different length, 5.78" for the C and 5.95" for the W. the pistons have a different height to the top ring because of the notched bore in the C, and the valve reliefs are different too. it shouldn't be any problem at all to appropriate the Cleveland specific parts, try Jeg's and Summit online. i see pistons and rods on Ebay all the time. also, support your local speed shop if they are priced competetive. take a look in the classifieds too. http://www.network54.com/Forum/215649

I HAVE A QUESTION .I HAVE A 1970 351 CLEVLAND BLOCK AND I NEED A STANDARD SHIFT BELL HOUSING CAN I USE THE WINSOR BELL HOUSINGS WHICH SEEM TO BE EASIER TO FIND OR DO I HAVE TO GET THE CLEVLAND BELL HOUSING , AND WHERE COULD I GET THE BELL HOUSING. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP . GEORGE HOLZMAN

the W and C bellhousing bolt patterns are the same. a W bell will work as long as the trans will bolt to it and is the proper depth for the input shaft of the trans. make sure the throwout fork is compatable too.
