I did a boneheaded thing, I am rebuilding a 2.9L for an 89 Bronco II, when I was cleaning up all the old parts I threw out the balancer bolt. I have tried almost everywhere to find out what the size and thread is. Is there anyone that can help me so I can finally get this back in the truck.
That is the problem the only junkyard that you could actually walk through to get your parts has closed. I was told it is not worth the time for someone to go pull one bolt off a truck somewhere in the yard. That's why I came here as I am stuck between a rock and a hard place, on this creek with no paddle. Thanks for the suggestion though
I did try the dealer, seems it is an outdated part and is no longer in there parts system . I have ben through all the books Ford and otherwise with no luck. I also called evewry machine shop in a 50 mile radius and no one could tell me what size the bolt was. I figured this was my last hope. Soon I will just go out and get a complete remaned one and keep the one I have for a spare should I ever need one again.
